As I noted previously, I was shocked to find out that I had only used 4 vacation days this whole year.\u00a0 Well, here’s how Liz and I will be using up the remaining 19 vacation days I have.<\/p>\n

In mid-November we’re going to spend a few days in Salt Lake City.\u00a0 We’re staying at a local hostel, and I expect it will be a nice change of pace for us.\u00a0 It will definitely be nice to spend some time away together for the first time in a long time.<\/p>\n

That will be followed by a “staycation” during the week of Thanksgiving.\u00a0 I’ll be taking the whole week off, but it will largely be spent doing stuff around the house.\u00a0 Cheap stuff that doesn’t cost a lot of money (because sometimes you need to be redundant).<\/p>\n

Then the big finale…\u00a0 we’re going on a trip to Brazil to visit my dad in mid-December.\u00a0 He hasn’t been feeling well, and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be coming back to the States anytime soon.\u00a0 We’ll be staying in my dad’s condo for two weeks, and then we’ll finish out the trip with a week in Orlando.<\/p>\n

I can’t wait for this vacation.\u00a0 I’ve been so stressed out at work that today I actually yelled at someone, which is somewhat uncharacteristic of me.<\/p>\n
