OK. So here’s the plan…
\nI’m flying up to Illinois next Thursday… with the cat. I did a test run with her on the tranquilizers with hilarious results. Let’s just say that if the tranquilizers say to do it on an empty stomach… FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
At any rate, I’ll be in Illinois on Thursday with Next Friday morning I’ll drive over to Indianapolis where I’ll be attending GenCon. This will be my third year, and I’m really and truly stoked. I didn’t think I was going to be able to go with all the moving and stuff, but I’m going to be there afterall.<\/p>\n Monday morning after the convention I have a job interview with the State University Civil Service System. Then I have another interview in Bloomington, IL later that day. Though these interviews may be for naught as I may have found a way to keep my current job. Then I fly back home for my last week of work.<\/p>\n Friday, August 18th I’ll have my last day at work in Orlando. I’ll head over to the house to pickup my stuff, say goodbye to Jackie_My_Mother-in-Law, and hit the road.<\/p>\n First detour is Jacksonville. Gotta say goodbye to my sister. She’s been through a lot this year, and we’ve reconnected so I can’t just leave without one last hug. And besides… it’s sortof on the way. I’ll spend the night there, and blaze a path for Chambana in the morning.<\/p>\n Saturday morning, I’m going to drive as far as I can before I have to stop, which probably means 12 hours of driving, maybe more depending on how I feel. 12 hours would put me in around Nashville which seems like a nice place to stop on the way up. I don’t know anyone in Nashville so I’ll probably be getting a room at a Super 8 or something.<\/p>\n Sunday I’ll be within six hours of my destination so I should be there by early afternoon.
