I got my ass spanked.  I brought a knife to a gunfight.  Well sorta&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I brought a warband designed to beat Lawful warbands which I expected to see a ton of in Georgia.  Out of 20 players, there were 14 Lawful warbands.  I thought I was going to be kicking ass and taking names.  Somehow the pairings screwed me over, and I ended up playing 4 matches vs Chaotics and only two versus Lawfuls.  I don&#8217;t know what kind of math would be required to figure that out, but let&#8217;s just say, I had a bad day at the office.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s probably all for the best.  I couldn&#8217;t really justify going to GenCon this year with the move and everything.  I thought that if I did well in Georgia I would be giving myself a reason to go, but the reality is that GenCon happens around my last week of work here in Orlando.  Therefore, I&#8217;ll be in a sort of employment limbo.  Without a job lined up, I simply can&#8217;t justify the extra expense.<\/p>\n<p>On the plus side, I met another batch of great gamers this weekend.  I also got to hang out with <lj user=st_sardonicist>,<lj user=missrachael>, <lj user=alienwater>, Michael_Kim&#8217;s_Luddite_Boyfriend, and the most beautiful bebbeh in the world holding a custom made light saber!
