and I decided recently that we would rent out one of our extra rooms to a grad student. She put an ad out on craigslist for a roommate and lo and behold the requests to see the room started coming in.

Well, of course, that means that we have to… you know… clean it up for visitors. So I’ve spent tonight cleaning the room out and making it look a bit more purdy. Our first potential roommate is coming around 10 tomorrow morning.

Excited, nervous and a little sad all at the same time…

  • Oh noes!

If you just make clear that you want a D&D playing roommate, this could potentially be a good thing.

No there’s an idea. I’ll settle for reasonable well-adjusted and willing to play board games. 😉

  • Yeah, if you’re renting to a grad student, there’s at least a chance for coolness. But there is also a chance they will never emerge from the room because of workaholism.

    1. That’s what we’re hoping for… A little coolness would be nice if you’re sharing a bathroom with someone. LOL
