Well folks… I’ve somehow made it this far. Today is my last day of “freedom”. 😉

I had a bachelor’s night on the town Thursday. I was sloppy drunk. Boy am I glad David was driving. Yesterday I had motion sickness until late in the afternoon. Every trip in a car was an adventure in trying not to hurl.

Soon after I got my full service shave at Carr’s Barber Shop the overhangedness and queesiness departed and all that was left was the sweet, aching tiredness of a man that danced too much and slept too little.

Despite all my efforts I couldn’t lose that last ten pounds. I’m still hovering around 210. I was hoping to get just under 200, but man it’s hard to lose weight when you’re stressed out.

There’s only one true wrinkle for today. finally caught the cold I fought off last week. Her voice is a little scratchy today so she went off to the doctor to see what could be done. I’m sure she’ll be fine as the day progresses, that’s how it worked for me, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

See you all on the flip side (with a ring on my finger)

  • Good luck!–and don’t forget, tomorrow you’ll wake up, look at one another, and bask in the joy of not having the plan a wedding.

    1. and don’t forget… the joy of awaiting the honeymoon. I’ll post the entire itinerary later this week. 🙂

    1. Thank you. I wish you guys could be here too, but I would much rather have Ella in this world than you two at my wedding. May she grow to be the best of the both of you. 🙂
